2nd degree practice has been postponed from Tuesday to Thursday evening. Tuesday at 7 PM we will be practicing the 2nd degree for Regional School in Sandy Lake Lodge with all of District 53 lodges. All Master Masons are encouraged to attend.

Richard Shull, Sr., father of Brother Richard Shull, Jr., passed away on Tuesday. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 11am to 2pm at the Oil City Nazarene Church of East 1st street across from Giant Eagle. Funeral at 2pm. Our condolences to the family.

Doris Myers, Barry Myers mother, passed away Thursday. Barry and Virginia will be welcoming visitors at Morrison Funeral Home in Oil City from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Monday. Condolences to our brother.

Congratulations to our two newest Brothers brother Rod Fee, and brother Richard Mulholland. Also a reminder of the District 53 Masonic training that will be held in Sandy Lake Lodge next Tuesday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. Our new brothers may also attend. They will also be able to attend our March stated meeting on the first Tuesday in March which will be open in the first degree.

Petitions should be in no later than April Stated Meeting. Before would be a big help. The must be investigated and voted on in the May meeting or they cannot attend the May 19th One Day Class. The Venango Lodge of Perfection will have a dinner before the Stated meeting, February 8th at 6:30 PM. This will be a Valentine dinner and, of coarse, the ladies are invited.

Next Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM will be a dinner before our stated meeting. This is one our most important meetings of the year. The official visit of the District Deputy Grand Master. This is how the lodge would receive the Grand Master should he visit our lodge. Much information is given by the DDGM at this meeting. Please make every effort to attend this meeting.
