Our second annual Lodge picnic was a success yesterday. We were very worried about the weather but it cleared off at the last minute. 50 brothers and families came to enjoy the professionally prepared beef brisket, mac and cheese, corn on the cob and all the other dishes brought by our brothers. Thank you brother Brad Young for the great meal and use of you property.

We have three brothers with health issues. Brother Rich Guthrie's just returned from Pittsburgh Presby where he spent over a week in the Cardiac ICU. He is now in UPMC Seneca Transitional Care Room 507B. Visiting hours are from 3 to 8 PM. Next is brother Lloyd Welch. In the last two weeks was diagnosed with cancer in his back. He is going to Pittsburgh Shady Side Hospital of Friday for surgery to have it removed. He thinks he will be home on Monday. Both would appreciate cards, calls or visits. Last is brother Kristin Meddock. I have very little info but apparently he fell and hurt himself bad enough to end up in one of the Erie hospitals. If anyone has better info, please let me know so I can post it.
